1st Feburary 2009
A pinch and a punch for the first of the month!
Where did January go? Did I miss it? No, I know I did not because I actually have the pictures to prove it. I just seems to have moved rather quickly.
My morning walk was all about vegetation...all the rain has brought out the lushness in the leaves and vibrant colours in the flowers.

31 January 2009
Another humbid day with on and off showers and intermittent sun. All the rain and heat has created a hot house affect and the bird seed has started to sprout!
I went to the shopping centre today and whilst driving through the car park saw this massive spiderweb complete with its owner. The web was a couple of metres in diameter and undisturbed. I could not resist...
Have some catching up to do...
29th January 2009
Well...what a day for weather! Rain then puffy clouds, sun, more rain, rainbows, more clouds and storm front. It was all happening in the space of only a few hours in the afternoon.
Susan, Nicola ad myself met at South Bank in the afternoon at 3.30pm and were witness to what one could describe as ideal for anyone taking weather photos that day....
However, when some things seem too good to be true... they often are, as was the case this afternoon.
I managed to fill a 2gb memory card with some 90 photos and video and had to reload with another card before the sun set. I was keen to go home and download the treasure trope of images, however when I put the first (full) chip back in the camera I was greeted by a rather unsavoury message..'Can read this menory card would you like to reformat?' 'No!'. Well this was not a good sign. And after plugging the card into every conceivable piece of technology that would accept it with no results I was faced with the unfortunate truth that the card was corrupted and my chances of recovering any files was 'nil'.
I did manage to have a few on the second card which at least some cancellation.
